Donald D. Cratchy, MS, LPCC

With a deep commitment to guiding individuals and families toward emotional well-being, Donald (Don) D. Cratchy, MS, LPC, LPCC, serves as the Clinical Director of Acumen Counseling Services. In this role, he provides clinical supervision and compassionate outpatient counseling for both adolescents and adults.

Don holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University. With extensive experience across a range of settings—including school-based, community-based, correctional, residential, and outpatient environments—he has worked with individuals facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.

Don’s approach is rooted in empathy, professional expertise, and a genuine dedication to helping clients achieve balance and healing. Licensed in both Wisconsin (LPC) and Minnesota (LPCC), Don dedicates his time to providing clinical supervision, as well as offering Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to clients directly.

Janis R. Copsey, MA 

Janis Copsey, MA, is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience and develop healthier coping strategies. With a focus on both adolescents and adults, she addresses a wide range of concerns through in-person sessions and telehealth services.

Janis earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University in Rochester, MN, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. She has extensive experience working with adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, psychosis, and trauma.

Specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Janis has worked both as a DBT therapist and Skills Trainer. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Currently, she is working towards full licensure in Minnesota under the supervision of the clinical director.

La Gr., MS, LPCC

La Gr., MS, LPCC is dedicated to creating a relational, collaborative, and affirming space where clients can explore their identities, gain insight, and develop confidence in their personal journeys. With a commitment to decolonizing therapeutic practices, La integrates relational and somatic (body-based) therapies to center and empower Black, Indigenous, and other POC, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those in non-traditional relationships. Their approach ensures that clients feel seen, valued, and supported in a way that honors their unique experiences and identities.

La specializes in:

  • Relationship Therapy – Supporting traditional and non-traditional relationship structures, including dyads, polycules, families, and friendships.
  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Care – Helping clients thrive without the pressure to “fix” or “cure” their neurotype.

Donald Cratchy

Anna Slaback, MS

Anna Slaback, MS, is a highly experienced professional specializing in working with individuals facing neurological and medical challenges. She earned her Master’s degree from Capella University in 2014 and was previously a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, a designation recognized by the Brain Injury Association of America. Anna has extensive experience in human services, including managing public assistance benefits, overseeing group homes, supporting individuals with diverse abilities in community settings, and working on a crisis response team. She is currently providing telehealth services as she works toward full licensure in Minnesota under the supervision of the clinical director.

With a particular interest in trauma—especially medical trauma, traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic illness, and chronic pain—Anna also works closely with caregivers, including EMTs, security personnel, police, firefighters, and family caregivers. She offers counseling services to individuals managing chronic medical conditions, such as autoimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, lupus, fibromyalgia), type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with over 200 hours of training through the Yoga Alliance, Anna integrates breathwork and meditation techniques into her counseling practice. Her approach is rooted in empathy, expertise, and a profound understanding of the mind-body connection. She utilizes various therapeutic modalities to help clients align their actions with their values, empowering them to take control of their outcomes and improve their well-being.

Gregory S. Ferriss, MS, MDiv

Gregory S. Ferriss, MS, MDiv, earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Winona State University and provides therapy for a diverse range of clients, including pre-teens, couples, college students, and older adults. Greg specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and believes that a warm, supportive environment is essential in helping clients discuss the struggles that many face but rarely talk about.

For Greg, psychotherapy should feel like a conversation with a good friend—comfortable and open—while incorporating proven techniques to address depression, anxiety, and other common mental health challenges. He is currently working towards his licensure in the State of Minnesota under the supervision of the clinical director.

Before becoming a therapist, Greg had a career in pastoral ministry, earning a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Albright College. During his time as a minister, he provided support to individuals facing grief, faith-related challenges, and those who had been hurt by religious institutions. His unique background allows him to offer deep empathy and insight to those navigating personal, spiritual, and emotional difficulties.
